252 Basics

252 Basics is a unique approach to curriculum for churches and Christian schools. It is built aroundthree Basic Truths every child should embrace according to what Jesus modeled in

Luke 2:52

* I need to make the wise choice.

* I can trust God no matter what.

* I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Each Basic Truth is amplified by a weekly key concept and systematically taught over a three-year track. The curriculum includes 150 Bible stories and is based on a Core Virtue and Memory Verse as the framework for each month.

Getting Involved

We believe that you as a parent are the child's most important influence for spiritual growth and development. Most of the spiritual training a child receives occurs in the home. We desire to support and enhance your efforts in leading your child into an ever-growing relationship with the Lord. In that light, we love to have parents involved in every aspect of our ministry. I encourage you to take a look at the ways you can be a part of Kids Konnection Children's Ministries.

Parent's Resources

We realize how difficult it can be raising children in the world in which we live. In our effort to support the parents of Kids Konnection, we want to provide meaningful links in which you can find encouragement and help in raising your children. Browse the websites below and if you know another that has been a blessing to you, let us know.
ChristianParentingToday.com is a service of Christianity Today, connecting today's Christian families with practical and Biblical advice and with each other
family.org is the website of the Focus on the Family Ministry. The site offers practical helps for your marriage and parenting role. Recent magazine articles, letters from Dr. James Dobson, news, RealAudio broadcasts and much more.
Filter Review is a resource provided by the National Coalition for the Protection of Children and Families to help you find the Internet safety solution that will best suit your needs. Parents are the front line in monitoring what gets into the home through the Internet. With all of the junk on the web these days we suggest getting a filter to protect your family.
Focus on Your Child aims to help parents bond together, share practical parenting advice, and encourage one another to make the most of the parenting years. From Dr. James Dobson and Focus on the Family.
Heritage Builders exists to help educate, train and equip families to become intentional about passing on a Godly Heritage to their children.
Plugged In provides reviews of movies, music, television, DVD's, and more, all from a Christian perspective. This is a great site to check out before you go and see "that movie", or buy "that CD" that all the kids are talking about.
