who we areSRAC is best characterized as a community of interconnectedness. People connecting to God, people connecting to other people, and people connecting to serving the world. That is what we are all about. Because life can be so busy and complex and, often, unsatisfying, we at SRAC are committed to helping people discover and experience the maximum fulfillment that God has for them in life. No matter if one is 8, or 80, God’s desires for you are the same. what we doWorship Service: Our worship service is designed to be a safe place for anyone to come and hear a dangerous message. Our messages focus on the truth of God’s Word as it relates to practical, relevant issues of life. The people are friendly, the atmosphere is warm, the music is uplifting, and the pervading spirit is one that seeks to be God-honoring. We meet every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. Click here for directions. Discovering SRAC: We have designed a class for those who desire to learn more about SRAC. Whether one is considering joining the church family or just curious about what we believe, what we consider important, etc., anyone is welcome to join us at our next six-week Discovering SRAC class. The next class is scheduled to start in January 2008. Click here to sign up for the next Discovering SRAC class. Life Groups: Life Groups are our small group ministry that meets throughout the week primarily in homes (for adults and students) and midweek at the church for children. They are designed for people to discover spiritual truths while they develop closer personal relationships. It is our firm belief that one cannot develop into a fully devoted follower of Christ (as revealed in Scripture) unless one is involved in a small group. Life Groups strive to maintain a balance within the group by praying for one another, ministering to one another within the group, reaching and ministering to others who are not in the group, and learning how to become a person of influence like Jesus. To find out more about our Life Groups, attend our next Discovering SRAC class. Ministry Teams: We believe that we are called to serve in two areas: where I see a need and in a place consistent with my particular passion/calling. The Discovering SRAC class is designed to help you begin the process of connecting to serving the world in this manner. |
